Grant Stone Brass Boot in Horween Light Espresso Raleigh, a rich mid-brown moc-toe service boot with the moc-toe vamp hand-sewn onto a single-piece front. The leather is Horween's Raleigh, a chromexcel-style oiled full-grain that reads as a warm pull-up espresso, lighter on the toe box and deepening at the heel and side walls. Built on Grant Stone's Floyd last, designed with the same locked-in heel hold as the Leo but with raised toe-box walls so the forefoot has room. Four antique brass eyelets and two speed hooks, tonal leather wrap-laces threaded through the collar, and brass collar studs at the throat give it the workwear-meets-dress detail Grant Stone is known for. Full-grain kip lining, vegetable-tanned leather insole, welt and midsole, cork filler with steel shank, 360 degree split-reverse welt, and a black wedge outsole that lifts it half an inch and keeps it quiet on hard floors. Goodyear-welted, factory-made on Xiamen Island, China. Wears equally well with selvedge denim, heavy chinos, or a wool field trouser.
