Red-and-white micro-gingham cotton shirtwaist, reinterpreted from an 1890s Edwardian blouse. The neckline is collarless with a low band finish and a single button at the back. The button-through front runs the full length with small white shell buttons. Shoulders carry a soft puff, shirred at the head, and the long sleeves finish in deep one-button cuffs. Shirring tucks at both the front and back waist define a fitted middle, releasing into a soft peplum sweep below the hips. Wears over denim or tucked into tailoring with the frills exposed at the waist.
