The M48 fishtail parka is my favorite piece of military history. The functional details, the long silhouette and the possibilities to adapt from extreme cold weather to light summer is the epitome of adaptable military clothing. I will explore this iconic style in each collection , refine, update and innovate it. This first summer version is crafted using my original 1948 pattern with a tightly woven cotton shell to block light wind and rain, and lined with soft breathable cotton to regulate temperature ~ the perfect piece for transitional summer / autumn weather.
